dommi´s super scale Trophy Truck [made in Germany]

Hello everybody!

My name is Dominik, i am 24 and i live in germany near stuttgart.

after my first attemt of building a scale trophy truck in 1:8 scale some years ago i am going to start my second trophy truck project. this time in 1:10 scale with much more details and a lot more scale factor.



here you see my first build but i am not really satisfied with it

some days ago i ordered some nice parts from the u.s. for my new truck!
- scale shocks
-beadlock wheels and dune t/a tires
-2 nice short course bodies
-different scale parts

if everything has arrived i will start the build. the new truck will contain some special features like:

- a completely new cast metal rear axle for 1:10 trophy trucks
- rack steering mechanism ( is this correctly translated?) =D
- stainless steel tube cage
- many cnc alumnium parts
- completely custom made front suspension
- scale interior

as model i will use a mixture of the jimco 6100 trophy truck:

i hope that i dont have to wait to long for the parts i cant await it to start this project!

Hey =)

today i started to build a tool for bending my 5mm steel tubes.
it was quite easy and the tool was finished after 3 hours it allows to bend the tubes around various rolls. the smaller one is 12mm inner diameter and the bigger one 16mm.




stay tuned my orders are landed in germany, only a few days before i can start

2 optional bodies, ford f250 and ford raptor both from jpconcepts.

6 2.2 wheels from ssd and much more scale stuff.
