| SIW Scalers rebuilds CXT
I've been off of Rccrawler for awhile now and have done quite a few builds since being on but I thought id come back with the rebuild of my CXT. I received it in a trade from a buddy of mine, it was on a pieced together homemade frame with wheelie king running gear, cheap electronics, and a cracked bed. I immediately pulled the bed off and put on a quick flat bed and some simple square tube bumpers. First time out I realized the wk transmission was not going to work out for a tow rig so I ended up installing a two speed summit transmission. while I was at it I pulled apart he body and put a coat of pearl blue on. I then used it like that until a couple weeks ago. A couple weeks ago I pulled the bed out a decided to do some work to it, build a new frame, new bumpers, and working smokestacks. Picked up the bed from paint Sound module installed in tool box Decided to make the gooseneck a little more scale then pulled the truck apart to coat the frame and trailer at the same time. Then it was time to put it all back together. The body got a matte clear coat over the pearl blue. Some of the new goodies going in include front wraith axle, rear ssd scx10 width axe with wk outers and custom length shafts to get the right width, cantilever rear suspension with revo shocks, wraith shocks in the front, limit straps al around, smoke generator, diesel sound module, maddogrc 5" slim light bar mounted inside front bumper, and a novak crusher/ballistic 6.5 combo for pulling that gooseneck around. |

Being an avid 1:6 CXT choppering up and rebuilder, this truck is super cool! I really like the stacks and the dually bed. Great work. That paint looks good as well. Not to mention that kicka$$ trailer! |

Thank you! I was just checking your build out, and its killer! looks so good as a single cab! just waiting on motor mount now, revealing it at my local scale comp next weekend. so I should have some good pics and vids out on the trail. |

Thank you! I've made quite a few trailers now for some local guys and myself. They are pretty simple now that I have them figured out. |
