Have you noticed any adverse affects from the forward angle of the rear shocks?

I've only taken it out twice for about 50 minute runs but really haven't noticed any issues at all with the rear shocks being set up like they are even driving backwards downhill.

I was just trying to post some photos of my updates, but photobucket is trash. I need to find a better image hosting solution.

Since I never actually posted the final results of this build I thought it was best to do a revamp and complete some much needed finishing touches to add to the scale look of the KOH style rig.

1st Task: Make rear wheel well covers.

This is what I came up with; just flat styrene cut to size and painted flat black. Secured with 2 buttonhead screws through the frame.

To do this wheel well cover correctly I had to slightly modify my original design of the trunk box with drawers and add a flat piece of styrene to fill the void. Hard to explain so just look at the pictures.

I didn't get pictures of the flat styrene pieces installed unfortunately. Ill add pictures later on so you can see exactly how the plastic was molded.

I used very thin flat styrene to mold to the body of the jeep. I heated the styrene up and while it was still... uhh.... floppy? I held it in place to conform to all the weird angles under the body. To secure the styrene cover I just used automotive hot glue.

This is what the end result of my wheel well covers looks like. I CAN'T SEE THROUGH THE BODY ANYMORE

Oh yeah... I also repainted the body a salmon color or pink for the haters

During the repaint I added 3D hood latches, windshield wipers and an antenna.

Here is the picture of the molded wheel well cover. Again I heated the styrene until it was malleable and then placed it over the piece i was covering. This gave me the custom fit i was looking for.

the final task on my list for the body was to find a way to mount 4 leds to serve purpose as rock lights. I just needed to make sure when they were mounted the leds wouldn't come in contact or be completely blocked by some part of the drivetrain.

I also went ahead and rerouted the wiring for the rear tail lights as well.

Here's what I came up with.

And now for the fun part. Let's see what all this work turned out to look like!

Oh and I stole my king king tow hook from another build I had and painted it salmon to match the body color.
