Twisted - That is very nice. I am a big fan of Ivan's racing rigs, and that is coming out soooooooo sweet. Great job.

Are you going to keep the tube color blue though?

-Sam

That is awsome, great tube work. Are you going to get off-road lights like the real truck?"thumbsup"

dieselfuel 01-07-2007 11:11 AM

looks very good the tube work is impressive but it needs more scale wheels and tires, maybe 1.9"s and shouldn't it be 2WD?

TURTLE 01-07-2007 11:26 AM

wow thats amazing! im blow away great job.!"thumbsup"

TwistedXT 01-07-2007 11:49 AM

thanks guys, i still need to mount the front shocks, wire up the esc, The body didnt turn out quite how i wanted it to but after i add the slew of stickers that has to go on it, it should all blend... i also need to streatch the front driveshaft.

I have been lookin at the rims and tires off of the tamiya s-10 prerunner or f350.. or i also have a full set of old crome rims from the traxxas hawk... but i dont have to connect em because they are soo thick! i may figure something out..

this is going to be used for the local rock races.. maybe a comp or 2... we'll see.

technically it should be 2wd but wheres the fun in that?

braceysdad 01-07-2007 12:00 PM

Damn, that looks sweet

TwistedXT 01-07-2007 01:56 PM

heres a couple more progress pics... IMO the paint turned out.. ok... REALLY 80's.. but i guess thats the whole idea... im still waiting on some stickers from Towerhobbies to complete the look and trying to figure if i wanna mess with lights or not.
