| Project "Perfect 10"
This will be my first build thread so bear with me. Plans are to build a class 3 ext cab or 4 door s10 truggy. I'm indecisive so until I get fully into the bodywork I won't know. I'll update as progress is made but I'm a low budget builder so it's gonna be awhile. This will be for the 2016 season anyways so I got plenty of time. So here we go first step is prepping body number 1 The first cut is the most painful lol (side note I'm investing in a better "dremel" for sure) Last edited by xXxCheeziexXx; 08-22-2015 at 11:05 PM. |

No the fender wheel wells will be a comp style pretty close to what you see here This is the cab I'll actually be using for the extended part so this was all done to get an idea of where I wanted to go. |

And as an update. The second body arrived over the weekend and I had a lil time to do some cutting and trimming. I'm no pro so it's going slow as I am being tedious with everything I do. Got a tad more shaping/trimming and I'll be ready to bond the two pieces together Also got the lines laid out for the pinch on the nose |

Looking good so far. Subscribed. Going with a fleetside bed or the stepside? |

| Re: Project "Perfect 10" I'm not 100% on if I'll put bedsides on the truggy tube work or not but if I do it'll probably be the stepsides but use the two beds to stretch one. Still on fence though as I want to do a flashy paint scheme on it with bright contrasting colors and I want the tube work to show.

Got some supplies coming in the mail. Should be arriving today and tomorrow. The struggle of no local hobby shop is real. While I wait though I have decided that the bedsides won't be used at all it will just be all tube chassis out back. And I am going to "shave" the door handles and possibly do a half cut door. If I keep getting new ideas I'll never get the body done |

That's the point of the hobby, to keep pushing yourself so long as you enjoy it. Besides, are we ever truely done with a rig? I think not.

Got the back wall shaved down and contoured to the sides of the body. And test fit the interior to see how much it needs extended. |

Sorry. Life has been hectic haven't got much time to do anything. I have got the bodywork most of the way done still have some finessing to do and ripped off the back wall to redo it. My ocd kicked in. This is the original interior for the carnivore s10 body. Just gotta extend it for the ext cab addition Body as it sits as of now Hope to get more free time in the next few days or so to get back on it full force Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk |

It's an old radioshack toy. There is actually one listed in the classifieds on here right now. The full body is a stepside though so it would take a ton of custom work to get to a blazer. But definitely could be done Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk |

90% of the body work is done so I figured I'd start mocking up the axles. Going with narrow xr mod front and rear. So in goes the brass splined Narrow Beef Tubes Test fit the chubs and knuckles which are boom racing wraith parts. Nice fitment, really snug on the beef tubes and the knuckles fit the chubs well with bearings seating pretty good. Hopefully the internal gears and lockers show this weekend and internal can get them fully assembled minus shafts. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk |

Haven't got much progress. Need to order more parts and still waiting on slow usps to deliver some. Front axle is fully built waiting on xr shafts for rear. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk |

Everyone loves pictures lol. Front axle complete minus steering links. Parts used for axle consist of narrow xr mod splined beef tubes, axial overdrive gears, hot racing super HD diff lockers, boom racing wraith chubs and knuckles, team knk hardware, and axial xr10 universals. More to come in the next couple weeks. Sent from my SM-G925P using Tapatalk |
