Thanks dude, I think half of RCC is on a list if I ever sell any of the 4runners I have Unfortunately, the project is slow right now do to imperfections with the axles ...I did however finally cut the body out. I am going to mask it up and then start painting it... I also bought another set of regular Bruiser axles off ebay for another project I am working on

Be honest, how many Bruisers (and parts to make complete ones) do you have?!

ummm...

Jeep Bruiser
Blue WRX Bruiser
Box 'stock' Mountaineer
Trekker
Pathfinder
Chevy
Those are all the built ones... Then I have this frame with the rc4wd Bruiser axles and 4runner body... so that would be 7

Then.... I have another frame that I got from Unimoger, which is getting a special one off Bruiser body and I just bought Bruiser axles off ebay yesterday for it and I already have all the suspension parts so... 8

Damn fella, thats a lot of Tamiya metal. Is there a build thread on the WRX? Sounds interesting.

Back on topic, what are the issues you are having with the RC4WD axels? Did I miss it?

I beleive WRX refers to the color, I think I read it in another thread or saw pics somewhere, search is your freind, go advanced with 1bjb*wrx*my trucks or somthing like that, you will only have to sort through about 3000 posts , by the way 1bjb you suck and to add to the list, I hate you, that is going to be one bad mofo when it's done

No...no build thread on WRX... its not much of a crawler or even close.. its more a 80s show truck type thing... kinda like the one juggsterr is building, cept mine has more shocks

as for the axles... well its mainly the front axle, the ring gear isnt pressed on correctly and there is tons of runout to the point where it binds and the steering kuckles... well they dont steer and I need a new inner tube as the one isnt machined correctly to accept the bearing... these are what I can remember off the top of my head

Whoa, that is a lot of issues. I hope they are working with you to get the bugs out.

I would love to see a pic or three of th WRX. Those are fun to look at.

Halfcab, I know search is my friend, I asked because the search didn't reveal a build thread...

As requested...

The "WRX" Bruiser
Specs:
-Fully restored body with Cowl induction hood
-Subaru WRX blue pro painted
- Custom interior
-Now features a full powder coated frame and parts (was painted in these pics)
-OG mthomson wheel
-G-hwags
-Jugsterr dual shock mounts and quad rear shock mount with LOTS of shocks
-full rebuilt 3 speed trans with upgraded springs and kyosho USA spur gear
-Jugg leafs

I think thats it... axles have bearings and stuff, mthomson aluminum steering bell and SPACE MUTANT steering linkage (if you are a bruiser OG, youll remember he was probably the 1st guy to make these)

As for the rc4wd axle, Hua is aware of the issues and assured me that him and product manager would be looking into it ASAP and that I would recieve replacement parts, so I am just waiting now

Those axles are awesome! Can you do a u-bolt flip with the parts it comes with? It looks like they hang down really low.
