A few pictures Justin took from our local scale comp Saturday:

Managed to pull off another win:

Starting to feel a lot more comfortable driving this truck. I've noticed I'm more relaxed and don't tense up/get frustrated as much as I was.

Here's a bunch of photo's Justin took at our comp on Saturday:

Getting photobombed while concentrating on driving through a gate

Managed to pull off another 1st place Truck continues to amaze me with how stable it is. The custom RBIIs that Sam made hooked up great even on the wet slick rock!

Couple of questions for you Scott:

How are you liking the droop set up on the shocks? I noticed it has a little bit of flex but for the most part it looks like it keeps the shocks from drooping out too much.

Also, how do you like those bluebird servos?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Sam!

I feel a lot more comfortably driving the truck as well as using rear steer. Everything feels a lot more natural.

I like it, it keeps the rig really low and planted. Requires a bump sometimes on breakovers. It doesn't have a ton of flex but it's well balanced and floats a tire well every now and then.

I've had good luck with them, they're strong, fast and have held up. Though the comp crawler guys I know didn't have as good of luck. I'll continue to run them and see how they hold up.

Haha, don't do that!

They're narrowed by I believe 3/8", sidewalls are shaved and lugs are siped.

Thanks

Ahh crap, was cleaning off the tires last night and ripped one down the seam pretty good:

Looks like some repair work is in order.

I can't believe those tires have held up all this time, they must be 3 years old by now! If you ever decide to build another narrow tire for it keep an eye on your width. I really fought keeping the wheels in tight enough to keep it legal and a narrower tire may make it impossible. I always wished I had made the chassis an 1/8" wider.

It's going to be tough competing against a rig like this at nats😜😎

Tires need a little love. I'll probably go through all of them and patch up the seams.

It's right at the legal width right now.

Could always build another one

Couple pics Justin (https://www.facebook.com/justinart24/) took at the last comp:

Front shocks need some attention as they feel a little dead on the initial rebound.
I'm also going to be switching in a slower servo winch, the one I have in there is just way too fast.
