PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast Been collecting some parts to build a Beast for U4 2.2 Trophy. Looking forward to racing locally and visiting the Socal jerks when I can make it out there from time to time. (Well overdue I know) https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/572/31...21f825e2_b.jpg Anyone know the correct tie rod length for these axles? Both the Incision and VP Titanium are too short. Maybe I'll just run the zero ackermann knuckles to make them fit? Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast I just use Jato ends and trim them to fit. |

Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast Back at it! To do list is getting shorter: Ordered a pair of rear TLR 22 4.0 2WD shocks for the front end. Need to make a spare tire mount to angle the tire up and away from the sway bar up-travel. Mount Fuel cell, rear light bar, and radiator. Build and install driveshafts. Wire up ESC/Motor/RX/Lights. Paint chassis & panels. Race. Win. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/901/41...44b06ac9_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/788/39...287aeaed_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/899/41...c6665b25_b.jpg |
Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast That's pretty sassy rig! Looks good! "thumbsup" |
Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast Thats pretty damn sexy :shock: |
Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast Man that looks sooooooo good |
Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast Designed a radiator mount and fuel cell mount that will work well. Driveshafts are installed and the driver tray is nice and solid-mounted too. Next I'll get the electronics in place and wired up. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/805/39...6e35ae64_b.jpg |
Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast Hi. I don't follow all the cwarler brands and vendors out there. Who makes that tube frame? Or is there a separate build thread for it? |
Re: PFB's 2.2 Trophy Beast sweet build, that frame is gorgeous! |
