Since I could sense that my c2 scaler was going to be facing some impending rule changes I began work on a rebuild. I put this rig here because I run 2.2 wheels with 1.9 KLRs stretched over them. Here are some pics of the truck in its current state prior to the completion of my rebuild. Having followed the makings of the new SORRCA rules I knew my truck was about to become obsolete. My current winter series will not be changing their rules until the end of the season so I have some time to make necessary changes. Here is a parts list of what I currently am/will be running: TKO 10 V2 Housings Vanquish stage one kit SSD cvds Holmes lockers Toyzuki chassis, motor mount, and t case Electronics HH BLE Stubby Puller Pro 2200KV HiTec 7955 Cc BEC Dragon Winch Controller Precision RC Works HOG winch Wheels clearly I am unsure at the moment. Due to rule changes and my assumption that my interior roll cage that is glued in would most likely be illegal I decided to build another Tundra. I took my old Tundra cab and decided I was going to chop the top. I drew out the lines to cut. Then I began cutting the top off. Next it was time to put the roof back on. Attached all the pillars. Then I decided it was time to trim the body line back into the rear window and strip the paint so that I could begin the finish my chop top. I have a long way to go yet, but at least we are making some progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: Chop Top Tundra I knew you would be. I have always run hardbodies prior to this summer. I am competitive and used my abilities to gain an edge. I will still be doing the same thing here. The plan is for this body to weigh in the same or less than the pink one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Had some time this evening to do some body work. Patched the cracks in the hood and began roughing in the pillars from the chop. It still has a long way to go, but it feels good to make some progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I thought that I was pretty much done with the body work until the putty began cracking at the joints. It was at that time I decided to make a plastic paste to support the front pillars. However it never dried and began eating the body. I had to cut the entire pillar out and start over. From there I added some primer to figure out any remaining problem areas. While the glue and putty on the rear of the cab were drunk g I took the time to trim the grill to six down over the frame rails. I think it looks mean. The way it sits on the chassis is the way t will remain. Forward lean and all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well this build has been completely on hold since March and it was about time to get to it. After 5 hrs of rewiring and getting everything to fit right the body is mounted and ready to go. I can't wait to get it out on the rocks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Definitely unique! Usually, you only see flashy paint jobs like that on monster trucks. Nicely done chop, too...

Thanks man. The chop wasn't too bad to do it actually makes it stronger than the stock body by a lot. I like flashy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

Added some sponsor stickers. Without these great companies I couldn't do what I do. I also took the rig for a quick run. First thing I noticed was......... that forward lean. It looks so mean. With the shifting around of the electronics and the cab only design I also noticed that the weight distribution of the truck improved. It likes to climb much better than before. Some will say that it is going to flip forward quicker now, but that is not the case. It is also just as stable on the side hills. This thing feels planted to the ground and is ready to take on the competition. Lastly I have decided that I like the color of the brass against the purple space theme. So I am making a bunch of items from brass for it. Stay tuned. On the block: Sliders, chassis braces, rear roll cage and tube bed. But Adam isn't that going to be super top heavy? Nope. Just stay tuned to find out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
