From the looks of that grill brace it looks like you're building something to drive through walls and other solid objects. I dig it.

Howler Customs makes the mock up links. Super handy. Probably no winch on this rig. Going for a mostly-on -road aggressive hauler look. Ie it wouldnt see much off-road action in 1/10 or 1/1. Haha | |

| Re: Szczerba's 4th CXT, Build #58 More like a big drifter. I am flip flopping on the trailer design right now but think I have sorta landed on a design, maybe. Getting some cool trailer axles in today or tomorrow that will make fabrication easier.

The 6x6 is right about 12.8" wide and I don't want the trailer to go past 13". Too many RC trailers are out of proportion in that regards. So, I was thinking drop deck lowboy with three axles "behind" the back of the 6x6. But then, no room for a second rig and a gooseneck type truck bed setup would look kinda funny. I don't want to do a deck over the with a gooseneck. Don't like look and it's been done, a lot. So then I thought about a low boy with drive over fenders. Still not sure and the 21" WB of the truck has me limited on a sunken deck and room for a second rig. Understand?? Wont be using duals. Going with the "super single" setup. I know you said no deck on a gooseneck, but a camper on the gooseneck would be neat. Like a weekend wheeler hauler. Just trying to help with ideas.

| Re: Szczerba's 4th CXT, Build #58 Thought about that too, then I would have to build the camper! I think this race crew prefers to stay at Holiday Inn's on race weekends.

Yeah, most RC trailers end up way out of scale. It's one of the reasons I've stalled on mine, it's kinda coming out goofy looking.

One more set of doors and you'd have to make it articulate for it to go around a curve ! |
