You never need dual motors for 1/10 crawlers, IMO, unless you run an MOA. Go with a lower kv brushless motor and add voltage.
Running one Tekin Roc412, 1200kv 540 sized motor on 4s with a Holmes Hobbies BLE Pro ESC. Single SCX style transmission is geared 66 spur and 6t pinion. Holmes Hobbies SHV500 servo.

Hang up and Drive
Yup, it's all about motor selection, gearing and voltage.

Where did you find a 6t pinion?

RC4WD sold them for the clodbuster. 32p. They look sold out now but HR sells one.

You should be able to throw a Traxxas slipper onto the SCX transmission and get larger 32p spurs should that be needed.

Noted, the gearing is setup perfect on this rig, for me. Good idea for others though.

Assume you're using 1.55s for the trailer? What foams are you using to handle the weight? My Pitbull Growler foams aren't up to it, wish CI made a DW foam in 1.55

Yah. SSD 1.55's and RC4WD 1.55 desert kings. Cut down 1.9 single stage CI foams. The foams will hold about 100lbs but then squish too much.
I welded a removable caster wheel to the underside of the axles for human transport.

Can you post some info on the trailer axles and how you made them?

Sure, looks like I didn’t post these here but did on IG.
1/2” square tube for the axle housings.
Got the axle pivots from a friend, WhiskeyBent Trailers on FB, the RC company not 1:1 company. They slide into the 1/2 tube, use rubber pieces to dampen and a set screw keeps them from coming out. And hollowed out 12mm hexes with bearings on the back side.

Wholly Cow. Shame on me for missing this somehow. Thought your 1st one was good but had to read this a few times to catch all the insane work you do as usual.

Your girls being towed was so awesome and funny. Like one of those little train things.

The trailer was something i have never seen before size wise of course but the axles. Big on that for sure and the overall build.

It’s definitely a fun people hauler!
I have one unfinished Pikes Peak CXT build sitting on my shelf. I have another full CXT stock truck that I may have the motivation to build one more.

My daughter didnt want her picture taken but did it, once. Haha. She loves to ride around on it. I need to make a handle extension for it her, as her feet hit the back of the bed now.

A few recent builds on it.

I could only imagine!! I've had a powerful Rig or two in my long life..... Even did Truck Pulls with my modded Clod, back in the early 90's!
However, I don't think I ever had ANYTHING that MASSIVE, that could tow that much weight!!!
So...... Trailer with 3 people, 275-300lbs??

BTW, THANK YOU!! My arthritic fingers thank you for the Rod End Tool you made!! I've literally about worn it out, but it still does it's job! I just have to hold the end a little tighter.
So, I guess I'll be interested in another one soon!
