| PROJECT: All Show and LOTS of Go!!
Since my brother built his F250 replica I have wanted a tlt with some serious axle tearing power. Seen here: Ford F250 1:1 replica Build with CSC chassis Peej410 contacted me that he was done making frames and had one CSC frame left. Snatched it up, perfect for this project. Acquired a Highlift so lots of parts will be donated from it for this project. Just picked up the Mamba Max tonight and decided to take a few pics of the progress so far. Say hello to the beggining of All show LOTS of Go!! Current ideas/specs Highlift Axles CSC Frame E Maxx Tranny Chevy C10 body RC4wd beadlocks Imex G's w/ cut tread Mamba Max 5700 Maxx polished shocks up front Highlift shocks in the rear (will be polished) Leaf sprung rear, 3 link front maybe... Or leafs all around not sure yet. Trac bars will be a must with this power. Also be using a lipo pack. I have a ton of work to do on the Frame still. This has been a long planned project and will probably be a long one to complete as well. Check out the current pics, thanks for looking |

Thanks guys! I cant wait to get this thing done. Two more weeks and this semester is over. FREE TIME TylerV: Definately a lipo pack, not sure which to get though. The mamba max 5700 can handle up to 3s. Probably will only run a 2s for starters. My LHS is starting to carry a new company that has some cheap lipos (not quality cheap) and have a replacement program as well. Might try one of those. Any opinions on what to get otherwise? |

Finally an update, got the trac bars done and leaf springs mounted. Also finally got the slipper setup for the maxx tranny, never thought it would be so hard to find a traxxas part Told you this was going to be a slow build, I just hope to finish it before it stops raining so I can go mudding! |

Yup it does make things easier, but it was still a pain! I ran out of shackles so a friend of mine came up with the idea of using old links from a bike chain, just cleaned them up a bit, they work GREAT!! I will take some better pics of them a post them up in the scale tricks thread. | |
