| 3d cad bouncer cage
Hello everyone. I'm new here but have enjoyed rc's for many years. This is just baby steps to a cad program (basic) I've been working on. The shocks, wheels, axles, drive shafts are all for show. The cage is my main design. I also created a fuel cell for holding esc (may have), and my version of a radiator. I made some hose attachments on them also. "I'm new to this" but I wanted to get creative and possibly make an ability to cnc machine a rock bouncer cage. Dont know yet, but working on it. Good day everyone. I can understand that you have spent countless hours on that cage. but however tinkercad is not the best program for doing extensive tube work on a chassis. you can use it to however to design very basic things like motor covers, faux engine blocks, useable axle housings... it just doesn't have the ability to really create good cage work. I can design some pretty sick wheels in tinkercad. I was going to put out a few how to tutorials for using tinkercad for rc stuff. I haven't gotten around to it yet. maybe keep a look out for a few threads here and there coming up later this year. |

I completely agree with you and it didn't really take much time also. Its is just to basic of a program but fun to see if it could be done. I just bought solidworks to start using for more detailed projects.
