Thank you very much Smog. This is the first rig I don't feel like changing right away. I do have a couple tweaks coming, but its not going to be anything massive. She actually crawls really well, is more stable than my buddy's Wraith and besides the grill looks like something you would see on Ultimate Adventure, put on by Petersons.

Made it out today, on a Atv trail on the mountain ridge East of my place. About 4 miles round trip, and a great vista at the top...

After fighting with the tires all week, I threw my 2.2 Tsl's back on and went for a run with my buddy Trent. Shout out to the new Wraith 1.9!

I weighed my 2.2 set of mounted rims/tires. 3.2lbs!

My spare tire/rim is 7.6 oz.

So 4 should weigh in at 30.4 oz(1.9lbs)

So I have just over 1.3lbs of water in my foams!

Might be why she is so planted

I have always run the cheapest wheels I could buy...

Usually Axial beadlocks, or rc4wd steelies...

But I decided to splurge on this rig and go with some really nice rims. Ordered the Locked Up Rc "Recluse" btw, wideners and the wide 885 hubs for front, and 665 for the rear. all said about $120. Rings will be another $30 or so, when the Tarantulas come back in stock.

I dried out the foams over night and everything weighed up @ 2lbs, 5oz. so heavier than I thought, but then I hav the Axial wheel weight kit up front(4oz) and dense foams in the rig. probably making up for the rest of the weight.
Going to run her today, as the wifey is spendin the day with her mom. Planning on a long run with the Doggo. I have 22,000 mah charged up lol.

Now that looked like a fun run. I went up lolo creek in search of an epic trail but had no luck, it was fun but nothing I will go back to.
Excited to see the splurge... I think it's a turning point of your addiction. ;)

It was a blast. Big Creek has nothing super challenging, just a lot of squeezes. Big rocks too close together to go between, so you have to go over, great for showing off articulation. There are many smooth fast sections that just make the trail move quickly. The Creek crossings are not very deep, only about 5" at the deepest, I hit 3 crossings the last St Mary's Creek shown in the big expanse of rocks.

I was impressed with the Boggers, they worked well in all the conditions shown. Forward traction is Stupid good in mud, sand and dry dirt. And the did supurb on dry rock, wet rock Granite, polished river rock, logs and roots. There were times I heard the lugs slipping on the rock until one found grip and hauled the whole truck up. The foams are a bit too soft, but didn't hold the heavy Bronco back at all. Oh and I got her on the scale this morning and she weighs in @ 9 lbs 8 oz. But is subject to change with the new wheels.

I swapped around some suspension today, removed some flares, and got rid of the AWFUL stickers on the side...

100% agree Hillbilly.

The hood looked kinda plain with the decal removed, so I went to my store of old paint... Turns out the black I thought was flat was Semigloss and the Orange exploded every where into Orange peal and splatters. Sigh....
Anyway it will work for a rig that sees rocks on a regular basis. Its really not a bad 5 footer.

"It's not a bad five footer" I have to remember that one! It's actually pretty sharp looking! I might have to pick on of those up!

LOL!

Yeah the paint does not look bad from 5 ft or in the camera, but get close, and yeah it's pretty bad...

So I got my rims in.....assembled and mounted.....

Everyting clears by a mm or so... The largest lug just misses the frame, and the tire misses the fender.... Glad I went with the 885 hubs up front. 665 are in back, and the tire just kisses the fender at full stuff.
