Truggy/Wroncho Build Questions I'm thinking about dismantling my Wraith to do a Truggy or a Wroncho type build with the SCX10 II chassis. I'm guessing that I need the chassis rails, driveshafts, Upper and lower links, shocked towers, battery tray, f/r bumpers. What else am I missing? Also, I would also need 2.2 aluminum beadlocks. A good set that won't break the bank. The Axial beadlocks I have now rub on the links when I turn both left and right. The offset isn't right. What would you suggest? Thanks! Re: Truggy/Wroncho Build Questions Heres the links that were on the wroncho project i bought n used for my monster truck build. Idk how well the 2.2s will turn w/out rubbin these. But my 2.6 PL brawler/destroyers rub a lil at full turn with +14mm wideners. rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F36 2485345855 Sent from my SM-J327VPP using Tapatalk |

Re: Truggy/Wroncho Build Questions Never mind your new Link Works. I'm going to be using an Axial SCX10 II chassis which has a shorter wheelbase. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

Re: Truggy/Wroncho Build Questions This conversion is made easy with a set of "wroncho plates", a vendor on here sells them. They essentially mount on the outside of the frame rails in between the rails and sliders. They give a bunch of upper link mounting position options for fine tuning your pinion angle. i'd suggest going with them. I have a set I was holding onto in case I ever wanted to do a low slung mud truck, but if you cant find any, shoot me a PM. |
