| Trophy Truck from scratch
Hi all my name is Danny i'm from italy,i didn't find an introduce yourself thread so here i am i wanted to build a TT for so long after what i saw from the master of rc trophy trucks cyconxc. DISCLAIMER this is my very first go at working with steel in the RC world and i only have access to an ARC welder so my work is gonna be a little bit on the rough side at first as of right now i am still waitng for rear trailing arm links and the aluminum baseplate, right now i have modified a chinese buggy bulckhead and steering rack, again, everything is still on the rough side the rear axle is just for reference idk what i want to get for that,i would love a metalconcepts one but i live in italy and customs would kill my pocket thanks for reading and have a nice day everyone |

ok so i decided to go with 1/8th scale electronics also decided to try out the 4 shock setup upfront instead of the buggy shocks wich looked a bit out of scale, also bought the rc4wd rigid real axle should come in this week then i have to decide if i want to use the stock bomber arms or if i want to build some custom ones, only concern atm in the differential mount i did, looks to be a lil high not sure how it s gong to work out when the rear drops all the way down,i'll figure it out. btw the electronics in the pic are just some trashed ones i use to run in a n old monstertruck i thin i ll use a shorter motor that that giant thing |
