Default Szczerba's F350 Welder Rig

Build #55 since 2007

All starts with a frame. Used MadDogRC straight frame rails and proceeded to chop them up.

And done

Narrow, 3d printed rear lockouts comparison. Cut down STRC axle shafts.

It's gray (printed) right now.

SSD housings with narrow printed lockouts. VP and axial parts.

I worked with Joshs4x4toyz on these wheels. These are around version 4. Rear is single 1.6" wide with ridge down the middle. Front is 0.5" wide. SLW pattern and removable hub covers.
1.55 MTZ's stretched.

Some other printed parts for this build and another build from another friend. Welders are 3.8" long.

Friend. They are a little smaller than a wraith seat. Won't be using them on this build.

I have modified an old New Bright Hummer H2 interior that fits this modified body perfect.

Heh?

Interior crammed and cut to fit. Door panels will need adjusting.

Made these little pieces to hold the front of interior to cab. My brain works sometimes.

Just for you then. Super mockup fun picture. I haven't even posted up the gooseneck trailer yet.

Ebay fiberglass bed. I cheated a whole lot on this build and bought several premade items. Custom chassis should make up for my laziness.

Sweet! I really wanted a welder and compressor on the back of my CXT build but can't really find anything in 1/8 scale.

I had a friend upsize his design to fit my bed.

Good looking rig like the way that interior fits the cab. I am doing a crew cab also and I had made an interior to fit. Are you going to do some kind of brush guard on the front. Will be following this build.

Thanks.

The 1/10 Traxxas Summit bumper fits this front end almost like it was made for it. Just a tad bit of grinding on the top of the bumper and it will fit the grill profile perfectly. Bumper is only $8 too!
