Default Bomber based 2.2 trophy U4 build

Finally getting around to doing something with this rig. I found a custom steel cage with links/trailing arms, here in "For Sale," listed as being built by RC Fabworks. Having owned one of Mike's Beast chassis, I figured this might have been an earlier design of his so I jumped on it. Contacted Mike about it, and he said it wasn't one of his, but he'd be happy to make any changes I wanted to do to it. So it got handed off to him at Axialfest that year and underwent some corrective surgery.

This is what I started with... well, the cage and suspension anyway:

Now that I've had time to get back to some projects, this thing's really taken shape. Mike pretty much cut off the whole front of the cage & added a Beast style front end, along with relocating the rear shocks to some new double shear mounts. New skid & fresh RR10 trans went in, Fast Eddy bearings, SSD driveshafts spinning Axial heavy duty 38/13 gears in AR60 housings with full VP Stage 1 parts. Full set of Incision stainless keeps everything attached & turning. Trailing arms were carried over from the original build. Servo is a Hobbystar 4521 waterproof 444oz/in unit (I have a bunch of these in various rigs, and for the price they're hard to beat). Shocks are Proline clones by GDS Racing (price was right & they work well, so why not?). Wheels are Chinesium Method fleabay specials, with Axial R35 BFG Krawlers on the 4 corners & S30 compound as the spare. Topped it off with Proline's Raptor body for the Yeti. There's a brand new HW XR8 SCT Pro ESC & 3600kv sensored motor going in once the battery tray/electronics shelf is finished & the cage is painted. Even with the old AE2 & 35T in there, this thing's a hoot!
