Default Is the Axial Ryft appreciated here? I just completed my kit (sans body) check it out!

Went for a 3S system. Dynamite Fuze 130A ESC and Dynamite 2800kv 6-pole motor, same as in the Losi Rock Rey. Hitec D954SW for steering. Paired with my DX5 Rugged through an SR315 receiver. I have the optional 2-speed transmission built, but I lost one of the parts for the servo saver so I can't run it until I get it :(

Looks good. I like the purple...but, I'm curious about the 2-color...technically, two shades of purple...dye job.

The lighting makes it look weird. I dyed over the back of the cage with black dye, and it really does come out as black. I wanted a two-tone dye job and I think it turned out very well.

The piece you lost was probably never there. It's only included with the Spektrum SX107 servo so unless that's what you have, you never had the piece. Dye job looks good though, nice job on the build.

Looks good my friend! You didn’t lose it horizon seen it fit to not include the splined inserts and only offers one in the sx107 servo :/

I used a power HD tr4. I dremeled out inbetween two holes on a provided arm and it works well enough. Doesn’t bind. I ordered a 25t yeah racing aluminum splined insert as well as axial 2 speed servo saver kit which I think comes with everything

Thanks! I stole an SX107 from a Mini-T I bought used. Could have sworn the spline was included with the kit :(

Is that for a standard-size 25T spline, or a 25T micro spline (such as the spline on the Reef's 99 & PowerHobby 59MG micro servos)?

Looks good, just about finished with my kit, what 3s batteries do you plan on using?

Thanks! Planning on using one of my Dynamite Reaction2 5000mAh 50C 11.1v 3S LiPos. Nothing special

I checked again. I’m not sure from the description it should be a regular 25t spline

Good luck. From what I learned with the Capra dig fiasco (which also uses the Spektrum SX107), you'll be vary hard-pressed to find a micro servo with a 'standard' 25T spline. The SX107 uses a 20T micro-spline, while the Reef's 99 & PowerHobby 59MG both use a 25T micro-spline.

Anyone ever tried the EcoPower 827? Says it the dig servo and has the insert.

I don't see enough love for 2.2 vehicles anymore. All of my recent builds are 2.2 now.

With that said, I LOVE the Ryft as a bouncer and a crawler. I've built one of each using the kits.

I love the color of the cage. Is that a die job?

Yeah the cage in the kit can be dyed using fabric dye. I used Rit dye on this one. Sadly I've parted ways with my Ryft and I no longer have it :(
