Default unimog project

Well here's a couple of pic's of my new project i picked up today , been looking at wheel and tyre options and am leaning towards the narrowed mashers or maybe geo's , not sure yet , anyway here's some pic's















Will be a while till i get round to it as im a bit busy at the mo but will try and get pic's up when i do bits to it

Looks good. But are you gona put some hobbie grade stuff on it, like tlt axles and stuff like that

I picked one up around the same time.

Plan is for either a K2 or home made chassis, locked pede tranny and tlt axles.
I may give leafs a try on this build. I need to finish the Land Rover first.

As for this truck, the wheels are as hard as hobs and the power is negligible. The servo is also very week.

It's going to have tlt axel's for sure as i have a kit just sitting around , as for the chassis i also thought about a K2 3L or homemade , tranny will be the black R2 from RC4WD .
I think the narrowed mashers from xtreme will be the tyres and also some wheels from them too as full size one's might be too wide .
Anyway here's a pic of it so far





This isn't going to be a quick build im afraid :-(

That's exactly the same mog that I got for my birthday last january...
Got it from ebay and want it to use for a 6x6 TLT based project but my gf don't want me to use it for modding purposes, she likes it how it is stock

I'll guess I've to find another body... Dickie ?
