| Another K2 Rubicon Build
K2-3S Chassis Locked pede tranny "very short pede driveshafts" Jato links TLT axles RC4WD Straight axle adapters & straight axle kit Geolanders w/ HPI rims Integy 45T w/ purple springs Mamba Max ESC 6000mah Maxamp lipo I built this K2 just like all the others, than it finally dawned on me that I should do something with that New Bright Jeep body I had sitting on my workbench. The WB was just to long with the revo links so I had to use Jato links and set it up 60/40. So now the WB is 9", I had to move the shock mounting holes in the frame an 1" inward. And the lipo fits perfectly under the hood with zip ties and just clears the tranny. I had some spare pieces of carbon fiber so I made a small tray for the electronics. Time to detail the body, add lights and the scale accessories! I think I should paint the frame or something? maybe it just needs mud or to get dirty! Looks nice. Would look better with RC4WD beadlocks...oh wait, I bought those. I do like the short wheelbase. It is a nice change. Everything looks like it goes together nicely. Thanks, Casey |

I'm gonna paint the roll bar and order roll bar lights and headlights. I also orders some Axial 2.2 Beadlocks and Masher 2K's. As for the runtimes I can get about 3 hours of crawling out of one lipo. The batteries on my M11 go out before that. |
