Default Work In Progress

This is a work in progress.
Trying to decide what's scale looking and what isn't.
I make the roof rack from 2 pro-line racks and covered the joining tubes with heat shrink. Still gota paint it and dress it up a bit.

Was going to use these accessories, but I think only the smaller shovel will look scale.

I have these 2 stickers on the back. Trying to figure out if I want to use the bullet holes yet.

The one with the strange writing is Klingon it says
"The Klingon Prime Directive" "KILL THEM!"
The other one you can read, LOL.

This is a picture of my boat:

Can't decide if i'm keeping it yet?!?!

I was feeling the whole tied down raft look. With lines running to the front bumper. Still in the works, LOL.

The other oddball pic's.

if youre wanting a scale appearance, shorten the wheelbase... the rear axle is too far back. otherwise its cool.

I've never liked the kayak/canoe/raft thing. It looks good for sure, but the the cool factor doesn't outweigh the top-heavy factor for me. Or is it really not that bad? Seems like it would be.

That rack just gave me an idea for my own project...

Try making the truck look scale, then work from there.

Im not sure if any of you guys wheel 1:1 trucks, but i do and almost every person i wheel with has a modified WB. My buddies landcruiser is at 104" compared to 92" or whatever they are stock. Another buddy has a willys cj2a that is pushing 96"wb, stock is 80" I think altered WB rigs like this are absolutely scale, since you cant even go on a trail ride without seenig a truck modded like that. I think it looks good

I don't stress over it my self.
I've owned 2 a jeep and an fj that had extended wheel bases.
Purposely built to get the tires out for better approach angles.
I bobbed off the rear and pushed the front and rear axles out to
kinda resemble my old fj. I had a full rack that went from the front
windshield to the rear of the fj. The only issue I have with my current build is the rack tube is to fat, but it's cool. I think I'm going to keep the boat, and just throw my accessories either in the boat or on the side of the rack. Building some tires that I hope will work with this build.

I'm inspired by a jeep i saw in canada, HUGE like 48" military tires with siped tread, a cadilac 502 motor, full width dana 60's front and rear.
Cropped fenders, no bumpers. Was ugly as hell but strangely appealing.
We'll see where this takes me, I may change and make it more realistic later. I'll keep ya posted.

Thanks for the comments.
