I really like it too, my pics don't show the true color real good, it looks even better in person. This new purple matches the purple on the body almost exactly.
I almost ended up painting it black, I'm glad I didn't.

I like that frame color, and smart thinking with hiding the servo!

Thanks for all the great comments guys, this has been alot of work, I'm glad to hear some feedback on it.
Yes, THnCS, this is why I have not made it to any of the scale get togethers, hopefully we'll do some more this summer and I can get out and have some fun with you guys.
Yes Brandon, there are some secrets I still have not revealed, both on Guido and Pepe. Every one of those levers on the tranny hump has a function.
Thanks John, I don't know where the idea came from, it just kinda hit me one day. It's not perfect looking but it gets the point across I think.

Here's some shots from the garage. This was shooting primer and the Plum Crazy Purple.
Also some shots of building the drop pitman arm.

I used a fiber cutoff wheel on my air tool for the rough cut, then some finer shaping with the Demel and a fiber cutoff wheel, then I used a sanding disc on my angle grinder to finish it.
I don't own a belt sander, every part is either sanded to shape with the sanding disc on my angle grinder or filed to shape. Thanks man.

WW Awe inspiring. The words don't really do it justice. For a scale model it is outstanding. I think you will be taking home some extra hardware from Montana.
