Thank you guys for all the compliments. I really appreciate it.

The Montana Scale Comp was an absolute blast and I was very very happy with how Guido worked. I had some radio issues that really handicapped me, my stupid TQ3 was glitching terrible up there.
I wanted to get a Spektrum before the comp but had decided not to spend the money right now. That was a mistake.

I have some pictures of that Bronco Alley rig on my computer that I found some time ago. I really like that one too blue-beard.

Unfortunately I have been too busy the last few weeks to finish Guido up. I need to take it apart, finish some things, and get some pics. Hopefully soon.

That is freakin awesome ...the Rig ...the Video! I Love Montana!!! It's where I've always wanted to live. I've been there many times and one day hopefully I'll live there and be able to wheel with u guys instead of being stuck down here in Freaking Miami.

wow. I watched the whole vid, whoever came up with that alternating up/down stick bridge is evil.
it looked like rear dig would have helped on a couple of 5 point turns, at least that is the rumor.
and a touch more ground clearance using portals like the 1:1 might help.

Of course this is a scale rig, not really comp crazy, and 6ft. tall rocks only 5ft. wide would be hard in 1:1 also

hey, i'm not paying for it and i have no comp experiance, I can throw out all the armchair QB suggestions I want :-P

but that was a cool vid, now if I could get someone to hold the camera for me instead of rubberbanding it to the bottom of my t/x....

What coil spring did you use on the suspension?

I have thought about using the portals. We'll see....
I couldn't believe I broke the bridge, this thing is so light.

Thanks BGGruff, I live in Colorado but I agree that Montana is a beautiful place.

Front dig was not allowed on any of the scale rigs for this event but you are right, it would have helped alot.

Right now it has silver Losi 2.5" rear buggy springs on it. It needs to be a little taller so I may need to try something else. The silver springs are pretty stiff compared to what alot of people use on comp rigs but with the weight of this thing they work out really good.

The pipe is just a piece of 1/4" aluminum tube that I polished. The air cleaner is a fuel filter for an old Chevy Quadrajet carburetor. You can pick them up at the auto parts store. It slides right over the 1/4" tubing.

Thanks for all the comments guys. One of these days I will have time to show the rig in more detail.

Grizz, Guido is a work of art. Absolutely awesome.
If I had deep pockets I would have to ask you how much to take him off your hands. But I know I would need really deep pockets.
Again, a fantastic rig!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. Check out my gallery for some good pics on the rocks. An no it's not for sale, unless you could make me retire. This rig is a childhood dream come true, I love it.
