Default bruiser for my "little bruiser"

picked up a bruiser from my friend for cheap for my son (even if he's only 3 months old ). had it sitting in the work room and i figured it was time to work on it. sandblasted the whole frame to get it all cleaned up. took apart my scale f650 to steal the axles and tranny. still gonna use the toyota body but probably only use the cab part. plans are for a full tube rollcage, leaves in the front and rear, and to get as much articulation i can out of this thing. got a runner done so far with a losi tranny, pro boat esc, spectrum tx/rx, and a hitec 5995. i'll be using moabs on rc4wd beadlocks with toby wideners. now i gotta get working on the tube work but at least the suspension works awesome.

this is all for my son (but my wife doesn't beleive me at all, but it's all good ). when he gets older he'll get it, along with all the others. but for now i get to bash with it . here's some pics of what's done so far, hope you guys like it..............thanks .....................

not too bad.......i like the way it performs. to me it used to climb like my 4 link i used to run, just with a little less articulation. i am totally satisfied with the way it works.

Nice rear suspension setup. Might have to plagiarize that on my build.
What leafs are you using?

That thing is wicked
That is a cute lil fella you got there he wil be one very happy boy when hes old enough to drive it.
I think you should cut the lower section of the front fenders like on the 1:1's.

Cant wait to see the end result.
Are you going to paint of powder coat the frame?
Also, what colour for the body? and are you going to fix the crack at the top of the passenger fender with styrene(sp?)

i haven't made up my mind if i should powder coat it or paint.......probably paint it a gunmetal color. i'm going to fix the crack and do body work to it. the front bumper is gone and i made a new tube bumper. i'll post some pics of it probably tomorrow before i fully weld everything up. the color?.....................i haven't decided yet, i'll let "little bruiser" choose .
