Default Unlikely body

Here is my current project. After a failed attemt to lengthen and widen a blackfoot body, I was in the store and saw this body. It was cheap, $14.00 it came in a set which even included a helicopter. I have a XRC chasis which had a 13.5" WB. I had to shorten it to about 11.5", now comp legal, in order to make it fit right. The body doesn't have that much detail, but it is the perfect size for my 2.2 wheels with moabs. I plan to make it look better by adding bumpers from a newbright jeep and painting in detail suck as tailights, grill, door lines, etc. I am trimming the front to make the bumper fit right and am going to have to glue the grill in as well as the windshield. What do you think?

I am running an integy 55T Lathe motor. Here are pics of the body all painted. The paint did not stick very well even though I sanded the hell out of it. I guess it looks alright with the paint missing. MIght look even better when I take it out. Might look like the real thing, getting paint scratched off and all.

Not too bad at all, I would lower the ride height and/or the body though.

Something different is always nice to see.
