Default Toy ing around

I should have never sold my YJ and I could no longer resist the temptation so the devil won.
The body came home on the 4th, the frame was made yesterday and the body cut. Tube work is more or less done today (thinking about a stinger front and back) so that just leaves the suspension for this weekend, if I feel like it. This is the first build I have had a real deadline for since I want to have it close to done with detail before I head out to Minnesota in August.

Nice start. The main frame tubing look really thick and beefy. Is it steel? The color looks like aluminum but it could have been smoothed and polished or something. I think you should throw on the Tall t's lol. If you don't can you at least take a pic with them mocked up?

I managed to fubar something while putting the center diff on my nitro stealth tranny back together so a massive pede has been installed and is ready for abuse. As usual I could not get it low enough to keep the drive shaft angles kosher so the case is hanging down further than I would like. I just need to move the rear axle back a touch, hook up the steering and do an alignment and it will be ready for body work

Thanks I'll look forward to that. I'd like you to drive my rig as well for some pointers if you don't mind.

I'm more of a pit crew for my son in law Greg who drove his first comp couple of weeks ago and was lucky enough to win first time out. (-12 score)

For cryin out loud MadJack and I can't even see all the gates LOL.
I do my best when Greg can't come we both just do it for fun. I really like working on our rig but I'm just learning.

I'm thinking that some narrowed Mashers or 1.9 Mashers would look tits on that!

Nice TOYOTA Slugz.

Saw this thing at Finish Line a few weeks ago, nice work man! Once this and the Lovell ranger are done you will have to sweet rigs.

I think I need to get my scaler out one of these days.....
