Yea I skipped brazing in high scool 2 years ago so I had to teach myself how to. I can tig weld so it kind of the same but not. You know what I mean.
Thanks for the compliments. I am a Jeep guy so it was only natural to build a Jeep tuber. Plus they dont make any old body style like mid 80's Dodge bodies.

Love the jeep tubers as well..... looks like a good start, nice clean bends!!

The key to a good looking braze is using the right materials- from the pics, it looks like you are using a brazing rod. Try and find some Harris 45; it will make anyone look like a pro.

Well my local welding supplier couldnt get any so I will have to order some online....eventually. The brazing is working fine for now. Its gonna take a lot of cleaning up to make it look good for paint.

Default Nice fit

That is great fit under the body. Do you have any secrets for getting it that precise?

Yea you just better get your truck finished.

I have built some fullsize cages so that helps but mostly I just keep on test fitting until it looks good. Lots of time into just fitting pieces untill I cant see straight haha

Looks nice. I just got a used Jeep Tuber with MudRock Beadlocks. Sounds funny, but where do you get the beadlocks. I have some, but no clue on anything about them.

Thanks,
Casey

I got them on ebay from Junfac. To start a tuber for the first time just practice with scraps. Read the tech article on it also. Its very helpful.
