I NEED HELP i want a faster motor than the integy 45t ...?? i want a titan 21t but it is 14.4v and m esc no handle more than 9.6v what do you recomended me????.. i will make a trail rig so it will be in mud, water and of course rocks and hills brushless is not an option |
the only one ive tried is the integy 35t with stock tlt tranny with 12/83 gearing and most of my driving is in mud and it works awesome!! |
one thing to do is remove the bumpers on the axles. they hurt your approach angle when crawling |
Quote:
thanks well i will order an axiom 35t an some pinions to see what i like "thumbsup" |

well the bumper is going to be attached to the frame so it till look more scale and by the way most of the street legal jeeps doesnt have 90° of approach angle and well i like to use a bumper for the winch and here in venezuela EVERYBODY HAVE TO USE A BUMPER so.... the bumper stays:lol: thanks for watching |
its not very scale to have a winch mounted on the axle... |
The titans are 23 turns I think. Also 14.4 is the maxx rating they will be fine up to that point. I have that same body. I found it too little for my liking with 2.2s. |

Lol he meant the bumpers on the axles lol. |

ok some updates make a winch from a traxxas 2055 servo lock the pede tranny, cut it and sand it make a chassis from alum and metal but its to wide so i have to mod it! also make an order for some tlt axle spare parts, alum knuckles, decals, rims , tower pro 945, axiom 35t motor ... etc all my rc stuff are on storage because in less than 15 days because i am moving to another country (brazil) mockup with 1.9's http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...s/IMG_0666.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...s/IMG_0664.jpg i use 80 lbs line http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...s/IMG_0635.jpg so since i dont have shock oil ...i fill my shocks with this http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...s/IMG_0671.jpg the body work will be later first i have to repair my chassis and drive shafts angles and i think i will stick with 2.2 mashers thanks for looking |

good to see an update. looking good might i add |
Looks good so far! i would consider reinforcing the chassis a bit more. It looks like it would flex like crazy."thumbsup" |
those tires are way to big.....1.9's would look hella lot better with that body"thumbsup" other then that every thing looks good. |
thanks cammok ***************** thanks chaman maybe i will ... but let me tell you the chassis fells really strong ************* cjkranwin i know the tires are really big but the 1.9's i have (tlt ones) doesnt perform good... and buy new tires here means more than a month and more $$$ i prefer performance tha scale look for know since i have just one rig .. so when i buy another rig (WK maybe)i covert these to a real scaler and the other to a real offroader and rockcrawler for now it will stay with the 2.2's |
selll/ trade your mashers for some 1.9's;) either way you do it itll loog good"thumbsup" |
well my tires are not to big :) http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...mudpit_jpg.jpg these are 53" michellins! but with 1.9 will look better you're right ....but i will stay with 2.2 because like i said before i prefer performance than looks until i get a second rig thanks for looking |
