Default Land Rover LR3 Scaler

Custom made frame with derlin braces. Captured spring fourlink suspenson.
Shaved TLT axles even the servo mount towers, RC4WD straight axle adapters. Pede Tranny 35t lathe , Mtronix 15a ESC, old coreless Futaba for a winch and a towerpro 955 for steering. I also ground down some TLTshocks. Of course had to paint it flat black

Oh and this is my first scale setup.

Running some 10/40 sleeved with just my stock TLT crap for now until I rip the ends off. Her is an update.

All ready to roll. Now I needed to hack up the underneath of the Rover body and add a flat surface in the back for all my scale goodies and mount the battery.

Default Second Gen

Thnx guys.
Well after wheeling this thing a couple times I realized that it was way too top heavy. I really liked that body but it had to be put up on the shelf. I don't know why but i decided to stick with the Land Rover theme and so I picked up a D-90 body . So now I started thinking about details. Stole a couple of the accesories off the LR3. I also picked up a Wild Willies parts tree and spent a few hours painting. I had also made a bumper out of a peice of angle iron. Decided to run a set of Moabs I had laying around. Ditched my front shocks and just ran springs for some superflex.

So then I wanted to something different. I hadn't really seen too many crawlers with drivers. Soo while painting all the Wild Willies parts I decided to paint a British themed racing suit on the driver. Then I needed a seat so I used one of the seats I took out of the back of the LR3.

LMK if interested in selling. I have a couple on my eBay watch list. Looking to build a more scale rig with one. Thanks.
