Default Toy-Goat-a

Yeah, I know, I been a little quiet lately. So I'll make it up to ya with a little Yota build.

FJ40 hardbody, BB-51 chassis poking out the front, divorced T-case, Geolandars, and more than enough scale touches to keep you entertained.

It will be painted. This pukey yellow is for school buses.

I may or may not narrow the Geos. Depends on how they look with the axles.

Some mockup shots, using the 51R (which will sadly give its life for this build):

why dont you use those trail doctors? oh thats right cause youre sending them to me. right i forgot!

on a less serious note, did you have to do any thing to the chassis or body to fit like that?

1.9's look like donut spares on this thing. This body is HUGE, as well as heavy. I bet it weighs 2 pounds all by itself.

I had to trim about 1/16 off some inner bracing to let the rear shock towers slip inside the floor. Other than that, it drops right in like it was made for it

Way ahead of ya, Coop. Charlie's gonna hook me up

Started the build already I couldn't handle that silver grille, so I painted it white.

Right here. Couldn't sleep last night No room for the Delrin skid, so I screwed it right to the frame rail. The t-case hits the floor. This is a very tight build.

Also blasted away the school-bus yellow.

Scale body mounts (front and rear)

Don't mind the yellow, the bottom of the floor will be painted black (along with the frame)

A little quicker, but not quick. I won't have axles til September (what's that tell ya?) but I can still do some building.

Finished the LHD conversion (also moved the wipers to the bottom of the windshield), detailed and replaced the emblems, and mounted the motor and GD-600. I hope it clears the links. I know it'll clear the servo, but just.

The t-case is a cut-down Pede with a Jato input shaft.

Anyone know the voltage these lights are supposed to run on? They're incandescent bulbs.

Be careful with that 9v Stu.I'm not sure what the voltage is on your lights. But I've burnt up many incandescent bulbs with a 9V.But what do I know? I suck when it come to lights....
