Default My First Crawler

well ive been around the board for a wile now and i have had this project going on in the background for a wile too but im finaly ready to reveal it and get some feed back on what i should do to it next so heres my FJ40.


Truck Base : home made K2-3L

Body: original FJ40 (not wacker)

ESC: dynamite Tazer 15t

Motor(s): integy lathe 75t

Servo(s): tower pro mg945r (steering) s3001 (shift)

Trans: "TOP SECRET 2 SPEED"

Axles: TLT

Tires: 2.2 moabs

WB: 12"+

Overall Width: 10"

Diff clearance: 1.5"

Center Chassis clearance: 3"

Overall height: 12"

Nice pic's !! Looks like the build is going well. Some spec's on what you're running in it should be posted in build threads according to RCC rules.
It would also greatly help in recommendations for your build.

I don't think it's nylint. It does look like a rear axle from something though, maybe hobby grade.

That trannie is custom built out of pinion and a walmart buggy i think

its a hacked up rear axel out of a radioshack truck. its actualy realy strong for being an RS paperweight. i have bound this thing up so many times and it just will not strip. but if it ever does i got like 6 more of these laying on my work bench lol

wish i could lower the rear pinion angle but the trans is so long that i realy cant do anything

heck yea especialy when u work there and u keep all the broken crap to use on stuff like this. ill keep this thread updated with pics of me n my friend out at our "spot".

ps. any1 from lodi cali or surrounding? just curious cuz we got like 3 or 4 killer spots like the one above rite here by my house lol
