Default She's Alive!!!

Well, I got my crawler back from Double J Products awhile back, but I just didn't have time to get it back together due to working to save up for school and a car. Well I got my car, and money for school. So rc's got time again!

I was able to install all the components and some new bearing carriers that allows more steering. It still needs to be waterproofed, but for now its pretty much RTR.

Body needs the RcBros led kits installed and I need to cut my moabs and install them on the RC4WD beadlocks.

For now, heres the new updated roller pics... CHECK IT OUT! Also don't forget to check out Double J Products!

wow that looks awesome, sweet brush guard/ exo.
Maybe drop the "pitman" arm of the servo to get a little less angle on your drag link. Of course than you might have to change your panhard...
Regards, clean looking rig.

I've always thought the steering didn't work as it should..

However it will turn enough to touch the shocks on either side.. So i'm not sure if I need to do anything to increase steering, or if theres something I can do to move the shocks to allow more steering. I'd love more steering..

Ben this was the first time I was able to take a good look at a BB-51 and get my hands around it. It is really a nice chassis

RCBRO - is that a different hook. It looks better than the one I made for some reason?
It was a fun build and the first time I had complete control on the bumper design. I like the way the brush guard works with it. I was a little "scared" about what it'd look like, but I think it fits.

but the price sucks, why is it $100+ for a chassis? you can get a k2 chassis for cheeper and still get the same performance......

nice looking truck to

Have you priced out the costs to get one of these or anything machined?
There is a little more to it than you can see.

There is a difference between the K2 and BB-51. Both are nice just different.

Double J, Same hook you made.

The BB-51 is the shiz... I'd like to find a better steering setup with my servo mounted on the chassis, but besides that details its the shiz!

Plenty of room for everything, servos, electronics etc..

Drive it around for a pack today. Finally no broken or loose parts! So I mounted up my new wheels. Need to install my LED's and waterproof the sucker. Then its party time! The front suspension may get some stiffer springs. but everything else is ready to go.
