Default Desert Bronco Build : project back in the game

ok, heres the deal, i have no reason to be on this site for about a year now but i thought i should change that so i'm starting to build a sand bronco

it's going to have

hilift axles
pede tranny
pede shafts
pede fronts
masher tires
hpi bronco body
hitec 645mg
fieago 9l 2700rpm
aquacraft brushless esc
tube bumpers


heres what i have done so far


needs bumpers and shock mounts still

some moc up pics

ok, heres what we got going on, i finished most of the chassis
i still need to build/install:
-rear bumper
-1 shock mount
- a few more braces
-a light bar for hilft lights
- a servo mount

and she's done.

the cage looks good, but that bumper.............definitly needs some work. If it wore mine i would take some body filler (bondo) and clean up the welds. Its like cheeting. But looks good.Thats my $.02

i think your right, i'm going to try to put it in the vice upside down to get some more silver soder to flow and fill the joints better, if not bondo


this is my first tube work ever so i'm proud
