That steering set up is different, let us know how it works. It might not have as much low end as you want with those emaxx motors.

Hey I like it, you got yourself a Double J Trail Beater scale chassis and a nice set up. That's a good score there's a lot of junk being peddled on ebay. I got burnt on some axles awhile back but you did well.

well like one of the guys on here said it is going to need be geared lower if you want to rock crawl with it, i would replace the trans with a pede trans or your going to need a gd600 gear reduction unit for the e-maxx trans, i'd go with the pede. the steering is another issue it has alot a bump steer i was trying to make it like a scale truck but like i said before it just sucks i'd move the servo down on the axle it'll steer much better. if you need help with anything just let me know. |

yeah that is my old prototype/tester chassis. i sold it rocjoc cause i couldnt figure out what the hell to do with it... you picked it up at a pretty good price from what lance(verticle crawl) tells me. i would pull the emaxx tranny infavor of something like an axial or pede and go to a 3 link with panard rod to help clean up the steering. good luck |
