Thanks. Realism,in looks and performance,is exactly what i was aiming at. And,ofcourse,Guido's suspension has been one of the big examples too. The weight/torquetwist problem has also been a concern to me. I chose Traxxas E-maxx blue springs and Tamiya TXT-1 aluminium upgrade dampers, for now. Funny you mention the rear swaybar. The lower links i use are made of shortened TXT-1 lowerlinks.(you can see them in the pics^^) I took the side with the (swaybar)hole off. But the idea of a swaybar has been running through my head since. I found several pics on the net of EB's (with modern specs) running a front/rear swaybar, especially the faster ones. I further reduced the weight of the chassis by taking out the three chassisrails-spreaders. They will be replaced by one-piece multi purpose parts out of aluminium.(not finished) |

Thanks. I decide what i want.Do a little research. And make the parts.(handtools/drillpress) In this case the dimensions of the axle dictate the shape/dimensions of the parts. Shape follows function, you can't go wrong. Usually i round-off the corners to make it more pleasing to the eye. |

The basic tools for most parts/builds. Use any drillpress you like/is suitable for your needs. Make sure it has variable rpm's and at least a 0.15/0.20 Kw motor. This is the one i have had for years now. Make sure you get yourself a big pile of (scrap) materials.(lexan, aluminum, steel, brass, copper, stain less, rubber, plastic) That's the real key to get into a nice and crafty scaler. |

Are you still running the TLT axles? Maybe this will help.TXT swaybar, almost perfect fit. My Bronco is about as heavy as a stock TXT,so should work for me.

Great idea on the TXT swaybar. You are prolly right about it being close to perfect for the weight. I'm going to make one that looks like a Currie AntiRock though. http://www.currieenterprises.com/CES.../antirock1.jpg
