| I saw alot of really cool rigs at the Nationals. I know most people kept their builds under wraps until the event, but it's time to post them up. I've had a few people ask for pics of my 2.2 rig, as well as the Super. Both are SW2 chassis', but I did mill quite a bit off the 2.2's chassis. 2.2 rig...........1st place in the 2.2 Class SW2 chassis TLT axles Outrunner Revolver motor 15t pinion Mamba 25 esc Hitec 645mg HPI wheels Proline 2.2 Mashers/frankensteined M3 Pro-line Gladiators Stampede tranny 84t spur 12 1/2" wheelbase HPI Baja Bug body Super rig...........3rd place in the Super Class SW2 chassis Clod axles Integy 55t motors (10 pinion front, 9t rear) Tekin Rebel 2 Two Hitec 945mg servos Modified Traxxas TQ-3 radio Pro-Line Commando beadlock wheels Pro-Line 40 Series Moab XL tires 17 3/4" wheelbase Pro-Line Rock Pleazer body Last edited by BENDER; 09-14-2006 at 11:58 AM. |

| Brad, I know what you are trying to do, and it isn't going to work. No matter how many times you ask I am not giving you body off shots of DirkZilla. Just so everyone knows, I used DirkZilla to help Bastard setup the finals course. DirkZilla finished the course with a score of 17. Not one 2.2 or supercrawler finished the finals course. DirkZilla owns all. |

Nickel, I did add the brace to the top of the frame. I was getting a little flex, but it was barely noticable. I tumbled down a huge rock wall yesterday with it. I only broke outer axles. Last edited by BENDER; 09-13-2006 at 11:41 AM.

| Jason, maybe you should post Dirkzilla on Clodtalk to show them how a real crawler should work |

Those connectors were always the first thing to get lopped off, then hard wired or Deans. I guess they worked pretty good for you!

How'd that Quark treat you? I have both the Mamba and the Quark and I must say that the Quark throttle response is so much better (and quieter), it just about makes up for the slight reverse delay but I just don't know if I'd use it in a comp. It's easier to avoid a rollover with the zero delay on the Mamba.

| The rig I brought to the National's is the same rig I've ran all year in the SERCRC points series. This rig started with a Stick chassis from The Crawler Store, a pair of locked Clodbuster axles, ThunderTech ajustable motor mounts, a pair a Integy 55 turn motors, 9T front/8T rear pinions. The front and rear Hitec HS5645MG servos get their juice from a Novak Super Rooster speed control, connected to three Team Orion 3000mah NiMH cells on each front knuckle with Deans Ultra plugs. The radio is a modified Traxxas TQ3. Tires are Proline 40-series Moabs on Proline Outback wheels w/Twisted Toys rockrings. |

| I'm kinda curious how many people were running brushless. I know Bender was running the Revolver in his 2.2 and I saw 'em in Kevin's Stick. From what I gather, quite a few people were running 'em just judging by the number of Holmes Hobbies stickers I've seen in the photos... |

My ride... ![]() ![]() The moabs didn't last very long. Ran them the first course then swapped to Mashers. Best move I made all day. All the rigs at the Nats were killer. Unimogger- your hand bros chassis is sweet. Looks well thought out.
