I picked a represenative from each of the major groups at the time to make up a committee. We fought out the current set of rules as you see them now.

members are:
Kevinlongisland, fishmaxx, rbgerrish, badger, pinchflat, grizzly4x4, disturbin the peace, and myself, that's off the top of my head.

We are planning on adding a bunch of new members as many new groups have popped up around the country.

Several new rule changes have been suggested for the new season, we are trying hard to make them be nothing major. Just trying to close up some loopholes.

I have put any changes on hold until I get the time to make some changes within the USRCCA. Adding new members will be part of that process.

Your club will need to become part of the USRCCA, and adopt our rules.

Details about that will be up there soon.

yeah i have heard of it but it seemed to be a dead website... very little going on there.
i have all the rules and score sheets printed out... also we have using your rules for our comps and have applied on rcc to recognized as a club, jasoninagusta told me that we were voted in but i havent seen us listed or anything yet....

also i dont know i should talk to you about this or not, but i am opening a 6500sqft indoor crawling facility and hobby shop. i would like to hold some major events once we get up and running, i am waiting on approval from the city to open my doors.

What changes have been suggested?

So You Jason have final say in the USRCCA?

Who has the say in what clubs become part of USRCCA?

Since my club has become a member of USRCCA (Carolina Rock Runners), i have been trying to read and learn as much about the rules as i can. I was wondering if you guys sat down and came up with a list of rules based on 1:1 comps, or did you devise a whole new set of rules from scratch based on the RC's?

From what i have read, it seems most people want to be loosely based on the 1:1 comps yet be distenguished from them. Seems like some of the rules dont concur with the real comps (and i dont want to beat a dead horse, theres other threads for that).

Also, is the ruling body a permanent fixture or do the seats rotate to allow new ideas from new members in? Is there a place where the competitors can vote for a new "board" member who is more in line with his or her views? I see that the rules change from year to year, so i was wondering if the people who make the rules do too.

Ive seen alot of discussion over "intent of rule". If the sanctioning body has meeting for rule changes i would like to see "the minutes" from such meetings. perhaps this might clear of some of the "intent" questions. Maybe have a thread in the forum, locked for use by those members only so they can debate the rules and the rest of us can see exactly what yall meant.

Your club should have an official rules committee member. You have to trust them to relay your clubs thoughts.

You club has a rules committee member. That member should go to his club and base his votes off of what his club thinks.

If your represenative from your club does not do that, your club is welcome to vote in a different member.
