Default Midwest USRCCA Nationals?

I have been thinking about this for some time. It seems there is alot of guys that can't make it all the way out to Nationals or even close to there. There also seems to be a larger number of Crawler Clubs growing in the Midwest. OK,MO,TN,KY and so on. Just would make sense to see a huge National Comp in the Midwest. Just seems like a good idea to have one.

It would also be nice to see a Mid National Comp that a few months before the USRCCA Nats. It's just a thought. I was talking to Kevin (TSC) and we both thought it would help out the sport. It would be nice to see different Divsions popping up.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe slide it in on a regional level, before heading off to the nationals.
As far as a location, maybe an 1:1 offroad park? Like Badlands, IN or Rockport, IL

I have thought of the same thing and spoke to a few guys about it. I just don't have the cash it takes to hold an event to this level(renting the land, insurance, trophies,etc.etc.etc.). There was some talk about having 2 more nationals added acrossed the US, but not sure what came of that though..

I'm new to crawlers but I don't think there is much for comps here in Nebraska. I think there are some in surrounding states. But would be cool to take part in a really big event like you are suggesting.

Thanks for the brainstorming..! ;)

But, we wouldn't want to hold an event like this in the flat Corn Land of Ohio anyways...!

We need a place w/ some real rocks..!
Either W.V., N.C., KY., TN., or AL.!

Even though it sounds like a neat idea...

It may interfere w/ Clubs scheduling, if it's not planned (at least) a year in advance...

About the best place would be Disney, Ok...They hold many 1:1 comps there. If you have never seen Disney,Ok....It's a Lake. With a Dam dividing it in half. Half is the lake the half as no water. So there is 1000's ac. to crawl on. You could never crawl over the same spot with a RC in 10 life times.

Just a few pic's

I think it would be a good idea, Even if I do live down the road from disney.. I would even make a 500-1000 mile drive to got to an actual large comp.. So I say im in, You just say when..
