For $70 to ship it one way...I'll take it on the plane instead.

I am going to check the case, what is the rules on LiPos?
Most airlines require they are in your carry on with the connections (deans, balance taps) taped off so they cant accidently short.

I would double check with your airline to make sure there are not any other restrictons/conditions that need to be met.

When I went to Washington I had my Deans plugs and balance plugs taped with electrical tape and the batteries each in zip Lock snack bags and then in a Lipo sack. I also made sure to tell the security what I was carrying in my bag before it went through the scanner and they moved me right along without question.

When we came to NESC we carried everything on - they can lose my clothes but not my toys....

Tape the plugs like said and just let the security know when you go through the scanner. They did the entire check on my lipos (took about 10 extra mins), but didn't care one bit about the trucks. Alex on the other hand got to walk right in without a second look.
So it all comes down to the person working the scanner. Either way - it wasn't a hassle at all.

I decided that the XJ needed some love before I show up to the SWSC

So new Motoworx Wheels, Pitbull tires, LURC scale hardware, LURC Scale hubs, a Killer Kustoms light bar, brazed in some fender flairs to make sure I'm in spec, and brazed up some front / rear shock mounts

and then I tore apart my other rig hope I can get it done in time

Seeing all the names popping up here...makes me excited to finally meet some of you.

Make sure you come introduce yourself either at the RC4WD Team tent or on the courses.
