Those can be assigned to those functions but the dig button is not momentary. It's not something I asked for because I don't like that setup. Sometimes you need to dig for awhile and holding the button is not something I find as efficient. Sorry man.

Thanks for the quick answer I'm running momentary since my old DX3 and get used to it. Yes, sometimes you need to hold dig for a while, but max. time is 5 minutes, that's no problem for me What i love most about momentary is that you only have to lift your thumb to get back to 4WD. But everyone has his own prefernces and that's no point of issue for me. The PL is a great radio, that's for sure. Greetings Frank Last edited by Dr.Frank; 12-09-2010 at 03:41 PM. |

Thanks for all the hard work and info in this thread Harley. I just ditched the girls 3PKs and my 4PL is on it's way. Looking forward to getting her dual steer MOA going for Christmas. Depending on the date my radio was made will I need to send it in for any updates or will it all be sweet out O the box? Gonna get another rx and run the Summit of this one as well. |

| How to have your radio updated If your radio has a sticker on the left side under the charge port that starts with "B010" or "B011" then you need to send it in to get the latest update. To do so, package your radio up and place a note in the box with a note saying that you want the latest update software for the 4PL. Do not forget to give your name and address! Send the radio to this address: Hobby Services 3002 N. Apollo Drive, Suite #1 Champaign, IL 61822 Turn around time, not including shipping should be a couple days. | The programming to allow the dig switch to function that way. In turn this has allowed the use of the pre-programmed 4WS mixing to be used at the same time as the dual ESC mixing as well.
