Yup, just send in the radio. Make sure they know how to get it back to you of course. They will ship it back at no charge.

They emailed us when they received it as well as a link to see when it shipped back. We packed it in the original box, inside another box and shipped it out.

Hey Harley is there any "talk" of Futaba making a 4PL specific case? I love this new radio and I know other cases will work but one made for the 4PL would be great. Thanks |

I haven't heard anything, and being that technically this is the lower line of radios (PL series) I am not holding my breath. The 4PK case would be my suggestion.

i might be committing sacrilege here but.....a dx3r case works quite well with minor foam mods.....now I'm just waiting for Harley to come kick my door in!

Thanks for all the vids Harley. Can the receiver supplied with the 4pl distribute all the amps to a 7980 servo? Will it fry it or should I just run it directly to the servo? Thanks |

| I don't know what kind of amperage it can draw. I would personally probably try it but I'm no rocket surgeon.... safest bet is to wire direct of course. I don't think you'll be getting any warranty work done if you fried the board with amperage.

I'm building my dual ESC MOA rig. And both 4PL and 4PK could drive the dual ESC system. But I have not find out any thread regarding the different effect of them. So I wonder whether 4PL could control the dual ESC as same as 4PK. Or what's the difference between them? Thanks in advance.

They both accomplish the same thing. The programming for the 4PL was derived from our expierence with the 4PK. The dig is controlled differently on the 4PL which is one of the major differences between the two. I suggest watching the videos in both threads. |
