The "Love of Rock" G6 is RECON's way of asking, "Won't you be my Valentine"? This G6 will feature two Main Stages packed full of scale challenges and action packed lines that will sure to satisfy every scalers sweet tooth.

Here is the G-Love needed for the "Love of Rock":

- A minimum of 5 scale items. (this could be a highlift jack to a stereo or bundle of fire wood to jumper cables)
- Teams will be competeting, but will be limited entry, so teams get signed up early.
- 1.9 scale tires.
- a box of chocolates to be left at G-Central! (this is purely optional and will not affect skill sections in any way)

The park features covered picnic tables and useable restrooms. Several resturants and quick stops are near by and ofcourse the Truckee river sets the backdrop.
The stages are each unique and will feature several skills sections, one of which you will be using your tow strap. A driver can expect to see a couple of time bounus sections and all drivers will be enjoying a two lane start alley.

Let's get our G-groove on and get real dirty in the "Love of Rock" G6.

Its almost like you knew I was on the fence about running my CC-01 and called me out. As long as I can find a ride out with someone in the Sacto area, me and my CC will be there!

I'm sure we can find some trunk space I was going to ride up with Chris or can take my compact as long as it's not snowing. I'm pretty sure I will have the day off but still not 100% sure.

We are a week away and it looks like more than old man winter will be asking drivers to be their Valentine, Axial Racing have sent Valentine prizes for the G6 competitors.

Axial Racing supports R.E.C.O.N. and its efforts to bring r/c enthusiasts the best possible r/c scale driving experience that it can. RECON and it's drivers are no stranger to having their skills tested, nerves wrecked, and perma-grin. (Perma-grin is caused by the most damn fun you'll have driving your r/c scaler and if it lasts more than 4 hrs, enjoy it!)

The Love of Rock G6 is geared up to be a great challenge for the scale driver. If you have driven in a RECON G6 Challenge, this is a challenge that you don't want to miss. Two Main Stages of 100 trail markers and a location that offers some of the best scale driving in Northern Nevada.

If your a trail tested veteran scaler or just took your Axial Racing RTR Honcho out of the box, we will see you next Saturday for a great day of scale driving, skill sections, and rock!

3 more days until some G-Sickness it's Rock Park.

This just in, Trail Nachos is on the menu and with a covered drivers area and heat provided by the Clark Brothers G6 Team, drivers should be all warm and fuzzy inside during lunch time.

The stage forcast looks like this:

OHHHHHHH MMYYYYYYYYYYY!

-100 trail markers per stage.

-2 stages.

-Several skills tests per stage.

-a first ever skill stage option, a shorter route which will require a winch to complete and a longer option winching may not be needed.

-more fun than should be allowed with any scaler.

I'm watching the weather closely, I want the pass clear for ya'll, this G6 is might even feature a little Alabama rock bouncing in it.
