| crawling in mobile AL
I just started crawling a few months ago. I have a LNC, upgraded some aluminum parts, servo ect... the usual stuff. I'm looking for some people to crawl with and find out if there are any comps near mobile AL? I'm willing to drive to surounding cities. There's not a lot to crawl here. I love moding and crawling my LNC just need somewhere good to go. So if anybody knows anywhere cool to go or wants to crawl let me know.

I believe that they do some somewhat organized crawling over near Pensacola. Call the hobby shop over there and ask them, they may know (I think it is called Mihabi, pronounced "My Hobby"). I crawl up in the B-ham & Gadsden areas and am not really familiar with south AL. You might want to check out the FL forums too, it may be a little help. Sorry I can't offer you any more. |

I lived in Mobile for two years, so I feel your pain. The best place that I found is to go to pensacola. I cant remember the names of the roads but what ever interstate you turn onto from I-10 that takes you into pensacola, take that. Follow it all the way into pensacola and when it meets the bay area and you have to turn right or left, go left and immediately turn into the park on the right. there is a large concrete area that the city dumbed stuff there to prevent erosion

| found rocks in pensacola
I took a ride to Pensacola this am. I found a decent spot on 98 just before the 3 mile bridge to Gulf Breeze. Area is 21 ft. wide and about 75 ft. long ! Its rip-rap along the shore of the bay ! not too bad for around here. Maybe we can gtg next weekend. |
