You have to be willing to travel. I will be driving 6 hours round trip to Cheaha. I drove 3 weekends in a row to attend comps and Nationals 2+ hours one way (Sand Rock, AL).

I drove to Indiana for the Indoor Championship this year. That was a 8+ hour trip one way.

Guys from Switzerland, Austrailia and Japan flew half way across the world to be with us for Nationals last month.

Errr ok, When your in Columbus Ga. there is a place called Moffitts (sp) Mill in Al. in Phenix City, do a search in the Al. & Ga. section for photos & directions.
When in Dothan Al. the closest place to there would be Jim Woodruff Dam in Chattahoochee Fl., do a search in the Fl. section (Dam) for photos & directions.

Not everyone has the ability to just jump up and travel across the state or to another state for each comp. I would love to hit everyone but with family and other hobbies its just not an option and for others money may be a big factor. I'm going to try to make it to some of the stuff around Atlanta and a few others this year though. This hobby has consumed me and my pocket book

I am with you on the not being able to travel stuff. Money is my main issue since I am trying to get on disability from getting hurt at work and have a bad back neck and shoulders. Long car rides kill me and I def can't drive that far so I have to have somebody to drive me. We have a few spots around Clanton and have spotted a couple down around Montgomery but that is about as far as we ever go. We have been trying to make it to a comp or something in little rock city for over 2 years now and still havn't made it.

Me and Lentsnh are both in Auburn. We have a few places that are fun. Shoot either of us a PM. We're always game to crawl if our junk is actually in 1 piece
