Default Oxford area

Hello everyone, I just recently moved to Alabama and was wondering if there are any crawler guys in or around the Oxford area. Also if anyone knows of any good crawl spots for an xr10 or ax10. I've been away for a while with some pretty big life changes but I'm about ready to get the rigs out, knock the dust off and get back to crawling when time allows.

Sounds good, I'm starting to have withdrawals...lol. When I was in va beach I had 2 hobby shops close by and several spots to crawl, I was even starting a course at one of the shops, unfortunately I think it died when I left because myself and the other guys helping moved as well. My goal is to one day build a course in my back yard but I just got the house so it's low on the list right now

Just to get the 7980 mounted, electronics wired up, a few screws I want to replace and beat the heck out of it...lol. Just bought a house so time has been very limited lately but it'll be running before spring for sure.

Thanks man, I may take you up on that offer. Once I'm settled into the new house I want to start work on a backyard crawl pile but that'll have to wait for now.

If you don't mind me asking, where is your spot at, I'm not real familiar with the area just yet but have GPS...lol. If you'd rather pm location that's fine too, I live off of Macintosh which is actually talladega county but Oxford school, and not in the city limits which is wierd to me...lol

I have not, but if there's some rocks for a comp rig I may have to check it out, Gadsden isn't that far away from me

All of these were taken at Cherokee Rock Village. It is an amazing place. I have a Losi CC and a full size Summit I take up there. Check out these pics:

This will get you to the right place in Google maps - The park is at the end of the road at the top of the ridge

Shoot me an email if you are heading up sometime. jsuphoto@gmail.com

another spot , I think we had run every inch of . Ohatchee , the boat ramp /beach has a large rock in the middle of the parking lot . Many comps held there. Lots of lines and a great place to tune on your crawler . Good place to fish as well.
