| Alaska - Anchorage Area - Anyone Interested?
I'm trying to gauge interest in the Anchorage area for a get-together. If anyone is interested, post up. I've been going out to McHugh Creek and a few other areas around there regularly. Lots of good spots. Hopefully there's some interest in winter crawling. McHugh has some really cool rock-hard snow drifts that provide some unique terrain. And the rocks are exposed up on top for a good mix of snow/rock crawling. I just scouted it today and plan on actually crawling there tomorrow. I only saw about 4 or 5 members on here from Anchorage that have been recently active on this board, but I'd figure I'd throw this out there. |

OK, I'm seeing all sorts of photos and videos of the Utah/Colorodo guys out in the damn snow. I'm getting the itch to go. Whose with me???? I guess I'll have to get some good footage of my own to convince the AK guys to brave the weather |

Jim! The weather has been super warm up here. Not sure what the situation is yet, but I'm drumming up some people to go this Sunday to McHugh. |

Be sure to check out www.aroara.org and look in the forums. If a group is gonna go out, more than likely times will be posted in the forum.

Any guess where I was this weekend? On a side note I clicked on: www.aroara.org and the contact info page wasn't working. Anyways it will be fun when we can all get out there and do some crawlin. I'll have my tuber and WK that is in the transformation and and custom "Stick Chassis" that I"m working on. I may do an E-Savage crawler as well. Last edited by mikesativa; 04-15-2008 at 03:07 AM.
