Most of the metals I use for tube frames comes from Internet Resources like lincoln electric/welding supplies as well as other sources.

Prices going up already has happened and yes will happen again but only in the small range roughly a small percentage if most buy in bulk.

Hobby metals like aluminum sheet and rods will only see an increase at the most of 50 cents or so per peice.

Good question though

i get most of all my stuff at my local Home Depot. as for cutting alum. you can use a jigsaw, bandsaw, circular saw, etc. just get a metal blade on it and it should cut through it like butter. may need to wear some ear plugs cause it can get very loud and wear some eye protection cause the pieces like to fly also :D

Yeah, I got a dremel just for all this, works great. I can use it w/ a sander deal for my tires too. Wearing safety glasses is NOT an option it is MANDATORY! its dumb no to, no reason to lose your eye over an RC truck...
