First up is my pretty much stock Tamiya F350. This just has a few minor tweaks to it but otherwise box stock.

Then I did the comp 2 mods didn't buy the kit from CKRC just pieced it together on my own. Seemed to work ok then I went down to see Gerame he explained axle steer to me and I redid the lower links and it work much better and also got a set of the prestigiousErickson Beadlocks these are nice wheels (Thanks Gerame!) I polished the rings and reveresd the front ones just to different. the ground clearance is alittle low so i am still working on it but other than that it is a big improvement to the old one. cant wait til the 2nd to show it off

thats how it it suppose to sit with a droop set up the ground clearance is perfect, what oil weight are you using? cause with a droop you prob want to use around 75 -100 wt oil

This is the jeep I have been working on...Kevin found this body in his neighbors trash can:roll:...Bought it from him, did some cutting, threw out my plans of my scout build, and plan on making a scaler out of this...There is plenty of work to do still, but could not resist to mount the body and drive it...

All right, so I'm less than a day away from getting my ESC so I can actually run my crawler, so figured I'd post some pics. Some of you have seen it, some not. Some don't really care, but I'm bored, so here you go.

As of right now my Axial Scorpion has:

STRC red high link set, STRC 4 link mount and front battery plate, STRC delrin transmission mount, Losi crawler shocks, Eritex beadlocks and Losi Rock Claw tires.

It will eventually have MIP center drive shafts, STRC knuckles and C-hubs, most likely a DNA dig, and I haven't decided on straight axles in the rear, because I like the idea of being able to change the rear toe.

For electronics, I decided to go with the Novak Rooster and a 55 turn motor. I'm using my Spektrum DX3R and a JR 8800T servo.

As you can see by these pictures...if you look hard...is that I counter sunk the four most lower screws on the chassis so nothing will catch.

If you look closely to where the shocks are mounted between the top brace of the chassis, I used the rubber hoses that came with the stock axial shocks as "cushions" allowing top brace to "float" a little. I don't know why this seems like a good idea to me, but we do the same thing with the front ends of 12th scales to get traction. I can tighten it up or loosen it by turning the outer screws. I'm hoping it gets known as the "Sturgeon mod" :lol:
