Actually...both rigs are excellent starting platforms. Take either of them and you'll be happy.

i would go with the clod it has a gecko chassis which i love that. i think it is one of the best crawling chassis out there. plus with the clod you would have a motor for each axle and if you put 2 55 turn motors in it then you could run over anything. GET THE CLOD.
